President

Bora is President of BBM and is the Principal-in-Charge of the Structural Technical Department.  He is actively involved in training personnel and developing and implementing improved structural design methods, thus keeping the firm abreast of the latest developments in the area of structural engineering.  He is responsible for the compilation and organization of system details and coordination and standardization of project plans.  Bora has a strong background in design and modeling of structural elements by computer analysis, allowing many different combinations to be investigated until the optimal solution is attained.

 

Bora has over 32 years of experience as a consulting structural engineer.  He has been with BBM for over 28 years.  His project experience encompasses all regions of the US, including Florida, as well as overseas in Mexico, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Uzbekistan.  He is well-versed in all types of building systems, including concrete, steel, masonry, wood, tilt-up, and precast, and has worked on numerous building types with varying degrees of structural design complexity, including healthcare, educational, resort, mixed-use, hospitality, office building, research, retail, residential, churches, and industrial facilities.

 

Bora is well respected in the design community for his efficient designs and exceptional project management capabilities from project kickoff to the final construction and inspection phases.  He excels in managing large, complex projects and is registered in 41 states, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam, and Grenada.
